Jena Team Wins Thüringer Forschungspreis

A team of four scientists from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering IOF has been awarded the esteemed Thüringer Forschungspreis (Thuringian Research Prize) for their trailblazing work on customized two-dimensional materials.

This award for scientific excellence in Applied Research was presented today at the Technical University Ilmenau and carries a prize of 25,000 euros. It recognizes the groundbreaking nature and high impact of their research.
